The featured speaker, Dr. Edwin T. Burton, Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia, is an internationally respected professional in the fields of financial consulting, investment banking, politics, and teaching. Dr. Burton’s areas of financial expertise include asset management, security valuations, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, options markets, and hedge fund management. He has been featured in publications around the world and is a renowned speaker. Dr. Burton earned a B.A. and M.A. from Rice University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University in 1971.
