April 4th, 2008 by Biz2Biz
How many times have you heard someone say it? There isn't anything to do in Roanoke. Well that's because you never had an easy place to find out what's going on the the Star City and beyond. That is until now.
myScoper.com, the brainchild of two of Roanoke 's entrepreneurs, Beth Deel and Wendy Schulyer, is a comprehensive and interactive calendar. It's unbiased format allows users to enter events into the calendar. It's user friendly format makes posting events easy and fun. For today alone there are over 20 events listed.
myScoper launched a press release regarding it's partnerships with other media and non-profits to allow more people easy access to 'what's going on.' Partnerships include WDBJ7, Jobzcafe, Vennue, MyRoanokeStory.com, The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge, Business Bullpen and The Butter Room.
Roanoke Businesses, this is a great way to announce your business and community events. So before you say 'there's nothing to do in Roanoke', check out myScoper.com.
