I'm a vendor on the market, and it's so true, the wifi rarely if ever works. It's really sad. I was hoping to work on my blog downtown when it was slow, but it's just impossible.

To whom it may concern:
What can I (we) do to help Roanoke with it's WiFi access downtown? Last year I took a class on a field trip to downtown and the only real place we could get WiFi was in a coffee house, the market building was void of any signal.
I work at a local technical college and I believe my staff could assist in helping Roanoke out, if allowed. What type of equipment is being used? Access Point(s), Antenna(s), etc. ?? There are quite a few options to go with depending upon the equipment currently being used or the money to be invested to fix the problem. I think it would be good for all of us to try to work on this issue together for the good of Roanoke.
Respectfully,
